The Bitter Orange tree is home to a number of products used across the flavor, fragrance, and aromatherapy industries. An essential oil can be obtained from the leaves, flowers, and fresh peel of this unique plant that is grown primarily in Brazil. Bitter Orange essential oil has a sweet citrus aroma character and is obtained via cold pressed extraction from the fresh peel of the fruit, which is harvested between April - June each year.
