Luo Han Guo, also known as Monk Fruit, is a plant from the Southern China/Northern Thailand region. The plant is cultivated for its fruit, whose extract is used as a sweetener nearly 300x sweeter than sugar. It is traditionally used as a low-calorie sweetener.
