Orange is one of the most common citrus products grown around the world, and has a distinct sweet and zesty aroma profile. 5-fold is a process of rectification that fractionally distills terpenes out of of Sweet Orange Oil, leaving a higher concentration of aldehyde and esters. The oil is obtained by cold pressed extraction of the fresh peels which are collected in the juice process. Sweet Orange has one harvest season between February - May where fruits are collected for the fruit and juice industry.
