Cornmint is a important crop for many different industries including: flavor, pharmaceutical, fragrance, and aromatherapy. Cornmint is grown primarily in the Eastern state of Bihar, and though it is similar to Indian Peppermint, Cornmint has a unique mint profile with milder fresh and green notes. The oil is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh leaves which are collected between May - July each year.
