Our Core Values

The customer is the center of everything we do. We are dedicated to achieving complete customer satisfaction for both our internal and external customers. The attitude we bring is friendly, fast, can do, accountable, adaptable and solution-oriented. Customer Focus happens when we listen, understand, commit to achieve agreed upon objectives, deliver and provide the best overall solution and value.

Integrity is the foundation to build trust, strong relationships and lasting success. We do what we say in an ethical and compliant manner. We honor our commitments with employees, customers, suppliers and communities. We do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.

Accountability is the obligation or the willingness to accept responsibility and work together as a member of the team toward a common goal for the business. It is being responsible for the things you say you will do, and doing them.

We are committed to providing the highest degree of quality in every product, service and endeavor of our company through reliable processes and systems.

Giving back and being involved in the community is part of who we are. We encourage groups of employees to volunteer in the community, contribute to charitable organizations and support the tradition of giving back. Prinova supports organizations where we believe we can make a difference.

We believe in developing close, lasting, mutually beneficial relationships, including customers, suppliers, fellow employees and other organizations. Building long term relationships is what we thrive on, to accomplish all of our goals.

We promote a respectful team environment that inspires us to be our best and a workplace that is safe, positive and engaging. We do it safe or not at all. We value your input, insight, effort and attitude.

United Way of Chicago

United Way of Chicago creates strong neighborhoods by providing people with access to the resources they need. To assist in this mission, we’ve partnered with United Way to create a payroll giving program that amplifies every employee donation. Prinova matches 100 percent of employee contributions toward United Way network’s health and wellness endeavors, and 50 percent toward its other efforts.

Northern Illinois Food Bank

Prinova employees regularly donate their time and energy to assisting the Food Bank in its efforts, including monthly visits to help pack meals. Recently, a Prinova team organized and relabelled cans of fruits and vegetables for distribution to local food pantries.

Ongoing Corporate Volunteering Efforts

Prinova volunteers support many charitable organizations, including:

  • Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)

  • American Cancer Society

Environmental Priorities and Sustainable Practices

We evolve our corporate sustainability policies and environmental efforts in order to continually reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a cleaner environment for generations to come.

Our sustainability efforts are primarily focused on energy consumption, paper reduction, and recycling. In the next five years, we plan to:

  • Realize a 5% reduction in energy consumption by upgrading our heating and cooling systems, installing air curtains on dock doors, and increasing the use of sensor lighting.

  • Reduce paper consumption by 30% with paper conservation practices and increasing access to conservative printing options.

  • Improve the collection of recyclable waste.

We are committed to conservation and environmental efforts related to hazardous waste, environmental noise, oil storage, product and packaging waste disposal, waste electrical equipment, and more. Our progress includes:

  • Eco-Friendly Lighting: We’ve installed high-efficiency lighting in our warehouses and offices, and sensor-activated lighting in select offices and warehouse areas.

  • 80 Percent Less Paper: We’ve reduced paper invoicing by 80 percent with the introduction of electronic invoicing.

  • Recycling Program: We created a program to recycle cardboard, plastic, and paper at our offices and warehouses.
