Traditionally a spice used in culinary world, Rosemary Oil has become a staple ingredient in aromatherapy and cosmetic applications. Spanish rosemary has a more buttery aroma profile when compared to the crop in Northern Africa and is produced to a lesser extent. For most of the year Rosemary can be harvested and processed for essential oil; the fresh flowering tops are harvested and transported to local distilleries to be extracted via steam distillation.
